Trip Overview

Nepal has some of the most beautiful trekking routes, this includes the ever-so-popular Langtang Gosaikunda Trek. It blends the sacred Gosainkunda Lake at an elevation of 4,600 meters with the breathtaking hidden regions of Nepal’s Langtang National Park.

The Langtang Gosaikunda Trek leads travelers to the mystical Gosainkunda Lake, which is located at an elevation of 4,600 meters, as well as the gorgeous Langtang Valley, which is encircled by other glacial high-altitude lakes. This is a beautiful hike that takes you through different ethnic communities and Langtang National Park.

The path flows beside the river through thick rhododendron forests, until it rises and proceeds towards the alpine areas. It then crosses a glacier moraine and arrives at the reconstructed settlement of Langtang. Beyond and upward into the inner sanctuary of the valley lies the yak grazing land, which provides a striking backdrop for Kyanjin Gompa, an isolated monastery well-known for its yak cheese manufacturing.

Ascends to Kyanjin Ri or Cherko Ri, which are optional, provide expansive views of the surrounding mountains, including the 7234-meter-tall Langtang Lirung, which towers above the valley.

If you want to see Nepal’s traditional villages and take in its breathtaking scenery, an integrated tour of Langtang and Gosainkunda could be your best option. You will undoubtedly have one of the greatest hiking experiences in Nepal with this journey.
